- The Lighthouse is 156 feet high
- There are 105 steps inside to the top of the lighthouse
- On a clear night, the lighthouse can be seen from about 25 miles out by a ship at sea
- The lighthouse is lit by a 1,000 watt, 120 volt, GE quartz-iodine bulb socketed in a lamp changer with an identical spare.
