Call 561-966-6609 for information on DuBois Pioneer Home tours. Private group tours are available.

Built in 1898, the DuBois Pioneer Home is one of the last remaining historic homesteads of its type in unincorporated northern Palm Beach County. Located along the Jupiter Inlet in Palm Beach County’s DuBois Park, “the house on the hill” is an excellent example of a self-sufficient South Florida Pioneer homestead.

See it all from along and on the Lox River

Pedaling along the wide, crushed-stone paths along the Loxahatchee River, you’ll likely see birds, butterflies, deer, otters, native flowers and an occasional gator. JUPITER OUTDOOR CENTER’S beach cruisers have fat tires almost five inches wide and comfy seats, just right for the are for the more than a dozen miles on the crushed stone trails.

JOC has bikes for children, tandem bikes and bikes with baskets. We’ll adjust your seats for your Things To Do in Jupiter tour.

Next, JOC expert guides will help onto a kayak for a tour on the Wild & Scenic Loxahatchee River. Just a few paddles, and you won’t believe you are still in Jupiter. Towering cypress trees furnish shade, and birds and other wildlife provide background music for your meditative adventure

Covered pavilions are along the trails if you want to bring your lunch.
