Pack and Paddle

Bernadette and Jack Wright were the happy winners of a Jupiter Outdoor Center $50 gift certificate at Monday night’s raffle held by the Palm Beach Pack and Paddle Club.

Money raised at the raffle held at the Nature Center in Okeeheelee Park will be used to send children to nature camps this summer at Pine Jog Environment Education Center and J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area.
“Children get lunches, t-shirts and go on nature day trips. They send us thank you notes saying what a great time they had,” said Bernadette, who is conservation Vice President of the 130-member Pack and Paddle organization.
Some of the other 30 items donated for the raffle included a 10-foot kayak, paintings, a portable grill, tools and nature photographs.
