Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Climb & Paddle Tour
Your adventure begins with a guided climb to the top of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, where you’ll take in breathtaking 360° views of the Atlantic Ocean, Jupiter Inlet, and surrounding waterways. Along the way, a museum docent will share fascinating stories about the lighthouse’s history, early settlers, and the area’s rich 5,000-year timeline. You’ll also explore the Lighthouse Keeper’s Workshop and historic grounds.
After the climb, you’ll gear up for a guided paddle tour along the calm, scenic waters of the Loxahatchee and Indian Rivers. Choose a kayak or paddleboard and follow your guide through mangrove-lined estuaries, where you may spot manatees, sea turtles, osprey, and more.

This experience is where history meets adventure. You’ll step into the story of Jupiter’s past, standing where lighthouse keepers once looked out over the coastline, and then paddle through the same waters that shaped the area’s rich natural and cultural heritage. It’s not just a tour—it’s a journey through time with unbeatable views and a splash of fun.
What makes this activity unique is the chance to connect with two iconic elements of Jupiter in one outing: the towering red lighthouse and the crystal blue, tropical waterways below it. Few experiences offer this kind of perspective—seeing the land from above and then immersing yourself in it by water.
The paddle itself offers a sense of peace, exploration, and curiosity, especially as you drift past mangrove estuaries and open water. The serene setting invites you to slow down, look around, and soak in your surroundings—whether you’re spotting wildlife or just enjoying the rhythm of the paddle.
Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, this experience offers a rare combination of scenic beauty, gentle adventure, and local storytelling that leaves you feeling inspired and connected to the Jupiter Inlet in a whole new way.
