Come try out our new bicycles at Jupiter Outdoor Center

Shiny new bicycles – beach cruisers and some with fat tires – are coming to Jupiter Outdoor Center at Riverbend Park.

The two dozen new two-wheelers should be available for rent starting around Memorial Day.

The new bicycles include beach cruisers for kids and adults. Bicycles with the big, fat tires — almost five inches wide — will also be available.

Be prepared to be visited by birds, butterflies, deer, otters, native flowers and an occasional alligator during your adventure. Riverbend Park offers miles of wide, crushed stone paths. Much of the ride is covered with shade so you can keep out of the sun.

Don’t forget a backpack with a hat, bug spray, binoculars, sun protection and sun glasses. Covered pavilions are available if you want to bring your lunch.

The new bicycles will be for rent under our chickee hut just inside the entrance at Riverbend Park, located about a mile west of Florida’s Turnpike on the south side of Indiantown Road.

1 hour: $20

2 hours: $30

4 hours: $40

Full day: $50
